The hydraulic transmission system of the hydraulic press is mainly based on pressure transformation. The system pressure is high, the flow rate is large and the power is large. Therefore, special attention should be paid to improving the power utilization of the prime mover and preventing shock and vibration during pressure relief to ensure safety and reliability.

According to the requirements of the pressing process, the hydraulic press can complete the basic working cycle of rapid pressure down, regenerative deceleration, pressure relief delay, pressure relief return stop (arbitrary position), and the pressure, speed, and pressure holding time can be adjusted. The ejector hydraulic cylinder is mainly used for ejecting the workpiece, and it is required to realize the actions of ejecting, retreating, and stopping. If the sheet is stretched, an auxiliary action such as lifting, stopping, and pressure return of the hydraulic cylinder is required. Sometimes the blanks need to be compacted with a blanking cylinder to prevent wrinkling around.

The hydraulic press uses the maximum pressure (tonnage) that the main actuator (master cylinder) may output as the main specification of the hydraulic press and has been serialized. The tonnage of the top material tank often uses 20% to 50% of the tonnage of the master cylinder. The top out cylinder of the extruder can use about 10% of the main tonnage. The tonnage of the edge-pressing cylinder of the double-acting drawing hydraulic press generally uses about 60% of the tonnage of the drawing cylinder.

The speed of the master cylinder is determined by the pressure processing process.
